It’s been 101 years since our ANZAC troops courageously fought at Gallipol, Turkey during the historical First World War. This April 25, 2016, the national holiday will pay tribute to the original ANZACs and their loved ones.
Locals and holiday goers can expect various events and exhibitions around Currumbin that are dedicated to educate today’s generation about our ANZAC heroes. Currumbin RSL will be hosting the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Elephant Rock, Currumbin, starting from 3:30 AM onwards. The parade assembly at Murraba Street, Currumbin Beach, which starts at 4:20 AM will be followed by the Dawn Service at 5:00 AM.
