One of Australia’s greatest stories comes to life in the Australian Outback Spectacular, a must-see celebration of national legend Phar Lap and a moving tribute to the bravery of the Australian horse. The unique live event takes place in an iconic showground within an easy travel distance from of our Palm Beach family accommodation.
As you take your seat in the main arena, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the wilds of the Australian outback. Reddish sand covers the floor, while a corrugated iron roof and heavy timber fittings perfectly evoke the atmosphere of a traditional Aussie shearing shed. There’s even a billabong! During the show you’ll get to know a host of fascinating characters and meet just as many magnificent animals, including the famous Australian stock horse. There are dazzling special effects throughout the show which is complemented by a beautiful orchestral score composed by country music star Lee Kernaghan. For the finale, local stockmen and women showcase their skills and compete in a set of gripping games and competitions.
The show includes a three course traditional Australian barbecue dinner, and the Aussie Pub which is adjacent to the main arena is open one hour before show time for pre show drinks.
