Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre

The Gold Coast’s only dedicated Aboriginal cultural centre, Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre, is wholly owned and maintained by the local Aboriginal community. Jellurgal offers unforgettable guided tours where culturally significant sites have played an essential role in the lives of Aboriginal people to international travellers, interstate visitors, and locals interested in learning more about their region’s Aboriginal history.

Jellurgal Walkabout, Jellurgal Journey, and Jellurgal Little Explorers are all available. Ensure to protect yourself by wearing flat walking shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. If you want to swim at the beautiful Tallebudgera Creek after the trip, bring bottles of water, swimming attire, and towels. A short walk from the centre is the lifeguard-patrolled beach.
