Currumbin Beach is well-known for its high-energy beachfront and tourist scene, but the beachfront will be transformed into an outdoor exhibition come September. The Currumbin Beachfront will become a massive art show for the SWELL Sculpture Festival from September 8 to September 17.
Take the family to the annual SWELL Sculpture Festival. It’s a 10-day free outdoor sculpture show organised by and for the people. There will be approximately 75 large-scale contemporary sculptures, each with its tale to tell. The 21st exhibition will undoubtedly connect people, artistic efforts, and locations.

Sofar Sounds will offer a live music performance. Experience the enchantment of live music with three unannounced acts, one unexpected venue, and a new way to experience live music! You’ll watch two or three brief sets by outstanding performers from all musical genres, as well as spoken word, comedy, and dance.

Mosaic Stepping Stones With Monte Lupo Arts
Monte Lupo invites you to design your own magical mosaic stepping stone. You will be handed a concrete paver and then asked to select tiles to mosaic a design onto the paver. After you’ve finished the mosaicking, the paver will sit for about 30 minutes to dry before being grouted and ready for you to take home.

The Monte Lupo studio invites youngsters to make a garden mosaic from their stunning hand-made and adorned tiles. Various painted bugs, butterflies, flowers, animals, leaves, and colours will be available to construct your garden scene. The studio assistants will then grout the mosaics, making them waterproof and ready to hang in the yard or inside the house.
Fancy Food with Madi Whyte
Make a fun and spectacular feast using coloured paper, felt, and other materials. With the artist, your kids can make whatever their stomach wishes, such as pasta, fruit and vegetables, or even an entire plate of food.
