Trip Advisor Senior Reviewer “Patrick V” finds the museum entertaining.

“Ripley's museum is a museum that kind of disappointed me but not in all aspects. There were lots of entertaining aspects and interesting facts to be learned in this attraction. This would be a nice stop in Gold Coast.”

Trip Advisor Senior Reviewer “J0s1e” describes Ripley’s Believe It Or Not “..interesting.”

“Worth going to, need discretion with young children, there were a few somewhat disturbing things in there. Overall we found it enjoyable and a great rainy day activity.”

Senior Trip Advisor Reviewer “FamilyFunIpswich_Qld” had a great time at Ripley’s but was also grossed out by it.

“Our family of 4 had a great time at Ripley's and loved all the interesting and wonderful things, especially the Miniatures section, there was a lot of things to gross you out especially the barbaric items they used to use to torture people. The kids got a huge fright when the World's Tallest Man stood up and loved the man that sat beside you and passed very loud wind! There is a lot of reading involved so be prepared to take a little longer especially if the children want to practice their reading skills. It was a great place to visit for something different and certainly helped with a school assignment on strange matters in the World.”

Trip Advisor Contributor “SineadCage” is dissatisfied and finds her visit to Ripley’s a “..rip off.”

“Not an uninteresting way to pass some time if there's a sudden downpour of rain, but at just under $25 per ticket, it's not exactly cheap. And I don't think the experience justifies the cost. To be honest it reminded me of some of the odd little museums you find in small towns/villages in the UK that your Mum drags you to in the wet and rainy school holidays, and where you wouldn't pay more than £3 for entrance. Disappointing.”

Trip Advisor Senior Contributor “KTAussie” feels the same thing as SineadCage” and recommends that visitors don’t waste their money on Ripley’s.

“There is so much more Surfers Paradise is famous for, so don’t go and waste you money there! Hang out at the bars, go to Cavil Avenue, Surfers Paradise Beach or Broadbeach..”
